Creation and Maintenance of a Retail Database for Scotland

A reasonable amount of general information exists regarding Scottish retail, retailers and related issues. Unfortunately for the researcher, this information is dispersed and often is neither readily or easily accessible.

To address this problem, the CSRS aims to provide a unique resource facility. The Centre has collated a number of existing sources of information and will add primary data resulting from Centre research projects when available.

Central to the success of this Resource Centre is the accuracy and relevance of any data posted on this Site. To ensure validity, all data sources are checked, updated and regularly enhanced.

Please note, when CSRS primary data is available, data will only be accessible to CSRS Research Community members and members of the Education Programme.
